Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of book-keeping and be proficient in creating VAT returns. A knowledge of Excel and various accounting software packages is required.
Responsibilities
Once training is complete you will have regular clients with whom you will liase to obtain information.
Entering information into software package to generate VAT returns.
Working with end of year team to finalise accounts.
Preparation for the transition to Making Tax Digital.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of general bookkeeping principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
