Part Time Support Worker - Leicester (LE2)

It’s their life, their way.You will be working alongside 10 people who live in their own flats within the same building in Leicester (LE2), so it is important that you can connect and share their interests. We need people like you to ensure they can live as independently as possible.
If you are a positive and friendly person, who enjoys encouraging people to try new activities and are passionate about helping people to access their community, then we want to hear from you.
This is a part time role of between 15-30hrs per week.
For this role we need you to be a driver with a full UK driving licence that you have held for over a year for insurance purposes. You must be willing to drive a mobility vehicle, so you can get around Leicester and make the most of the time you are spending with the people you support.
You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week and alternate weekends, between the hours of 7am and 10pm, with shifts between 6-8 hours.
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Ability to commute/relocate: LE2 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.
What will we do?
We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker.
