Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team in Vision Care Opticians.
Optical assistant/Receptionist will be responsible for making appointments on the telephone and face to face, filing patient records and recording patient details on computer system . There are many other administrative tasks within our workplace , typical of any busy office.
The successful applicant will deal directly with the public and should be friendly kind and caring. They will be involved in frame selection and in time, adjustment and small repairs of spectacles .
We are working safely together and adhere to Government guidelines on social distancing and sanitation .The Optical Assistant /Receptionist will be expected to adhere to these and share the responsibility of cleaning also.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 GSCEs or equivalent including English and Maths.
Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential
