Nursery Room Leader

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Practitioner to lead our nursery playroom and inspire both children and staff!
Position: Nursery Room Leader
Location: St Roch’s Childcare Service
Location – Royston, Glasgow G21 2QA
Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of childcare professionals in delivering high-quality care and education
- Develop and implement age-appropriate play-based learning activities that promote children's development.
- Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Build strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring open communication and involvement.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and early years frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
