We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and communicating effectively with both children and parents. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with all National Frameworks.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that meets health and safety standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and support each other in delivering excellent childcare.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage activities and guide other staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
