Nursery Apprentice
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to develop their skills in a nurturing environment.
As an Apprentice, you will support the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children to learn and grow.
Duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development across various domains.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children and their families, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, ensuring all equipment and resources are safe and accessible.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of early childhood education practices.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
- A strong interest in early childhood education and a desire to learn about childcare best practices.
- Be able to use own initiative, follow the children‘s play- tidy as you go
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn about child development, learn to do observations, plan for children though likes and interests
