MIG Welder Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in fabricating and assembling metal components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various power and hand tools. The MIG Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts.
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure adherence to standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any issues that arise during the welding process.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques; experience with TIG welding is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: £11.68-£12.17 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 45 per week
