We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhancing the patient experience.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Process patient information efficiently
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Keep the reception area tidy and organised, creating a welcoming environment
Experience
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in using office equipment and computer software, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
