We have two vacancies for Learning Supervisors to work as part of our busy and dedicated team at Croesyceiliog School
The role of the Learning Supervisor is vitally important to staff and pupils and the successful post holder will be someone who can be trusted to provide stability, structure and support.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that learning continues to a high standard in the absence of a teacher. This requires the ability to maintain good order and keep pupils on task, support student’s learning, and to set a good example in terms of personal presentation, attendance, punctuality and inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
The successful candidate will be expected to prepare classrooms as directed for lessons and clear up afterwards. To assist with displays of pupils’ work and to maintain and use equipment/resources required to meet lesson plans, learning activities and teaching programmes.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate efficiently with staff and pupils.
The successful candidate maybe someone with who has worked in the public services sector, could be someone who has previous experience of working with children or young people, might be someone with a training background or perhaps someone with a vocation to work with young people.
