I am actively seeking experienced Adult Learning Disability Support Workers to work within a service in Llanrumney, Cardiff. The service supports those with learning and mobility difficulties with personal care, medication administration, food preparation and accessing the community. Overview:
Title: Full-time Learning Disability Support Worker

Job Type: Temporary
Shifts: Full-time hours, long days (8am-7pm) short days (10am-3pm) and sleeps
Pay: £13.38 p/h (inclusive of holidays)
Immediate starts available
Must have full UK driving license

The role: What you’ll be doing as an adult learning Disability Support Worker You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs which include observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the support of a team of multi-professionals. Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
