Join Our Team as a Kitchen Porter!
We are looking for a driven, diligent, and friendly Kitchen Porter to join the team at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the F&B operation and beyond. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, eager to learn and committed to excellence!

Located near premier attractions like OVO Hydro, Hampden Park, and the University of Glasgow, our hotel offers a vibrant and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. What you’ll be doing
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-wash station, and rubbish compactor.
Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, knives, and equipment.
Receive deliveries, store perishables properly and rotate stock.
Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.
Who We Are Looking For: We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual with experience in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate is a team player, fast learner, adaptable, and possesses exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills. You would be someone who:
Follows all Company safety and security policies and procedures
Protects Company assets
Proactive and reliable
Responsible with great listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
Skilled in effective communication with a positive outlook
Flexibility and multi-tasking ability
Previous experience in a similar hospitality setting preferred.
This role requires the ability move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
