Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking.
• Help with the storage of food items and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and labelling.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during service periods by providing assistance as needed.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling practices are followed.
• Assist with deliveries by unpacking and storing supplies in designated areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is preferred but not essential.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn and help within a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
