About this Role
Highfield Littleport is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Key Stage 4 Exams, Work Experience & Transition Administrator to play a vital role in the administration of internal and external exams, work experience placement coordination, and post-school transition support. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students’ learning and career progression within an educational setting.
Job Title: Key Stage 4 Exams, Work Experience and Transition Administrator
Location: Highfield Littleport Academy
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary: ALT Grade F £27,269 - £29,093 FTE
Actual Salary: £20,510.90 - £21,882.85
Start Date: Monday 6th January 2025

About Us:
We are a thriving community special school in Cambridgeshire, dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment for children aged 2 to 19. Highfield Littleport Academy offers unique learning experiences for students with significant and complex needs, including physical, sensory, communication, and medical support requirements.
Situated in beautiful, spacious grounds on the edge of Littleport, our academy boasts excellent facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool and a well-equipped sports hall. As part of the Cambridgeshire Active Learning Trust hub, we work closely with local mainstream schools to promote inclusive education, sharing expertise, resources, and best practices.
There are many training and growth opportunities in the academy, through external professional development programs such as a Level 6 Career Professional Development Apprenticeship.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in Exam Administration: Previous experience in managing exam processes, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and external agencies.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding and Health & Safety: Familiarity with legal frameworks surrounding student welfare, including risk assessments for work experience.
  • IT Proficiency: Experience using JCQ and awarding body online tools, as well as school management systems.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and external partners.
