Hours: 9.30 - 14.30 shifts, various contracts from 5 hrs to 30hrs availabale to allow flexiblility to cover shifts
Holiday: 28 days per annum (including public holidays) pro-rata

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Café Cook
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Café Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:

Preparing and cooking longer life foods e.g. baking scones, preparing soups
Daily cooking of menu items to order from scratch
Monitoring stock levels and requesting re-orders
Cleaning all equipment and surfaces to maintain a high standard of food hygiene

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Café Cook you will need the following qualities and skills:

Experience of food preparation in a working kitchen and/or studying cookery
Good understanding of food hygiene practices and commitment to achieve level 2 FSH qualification if not already held
Calm under pressure
Take great pride in what you do
Love working as part of a team
