Come and join our team
Our Estate and Tenancy Management Team provides an essential service to nine and half thousand tenants across the County.
The team is responsible for being visible and proactive in our housing estates to provide help and assistance to all our tenants but especially those that are most vulnerable or have complicated lifestyles. We want all of our tenants to feel well supported and that where they have difficulty in doing things for themselves, they can rely on us for that help. Your role will involve assisting tenants with matters including, but not limited to: affordability and budgeting skills, health and wellbeing, lifestyle skills, social/ community inclusion.
Our ideal candidate will be able to offer appropriate levels of support in a sensitive manner, considering the emotional and intellectual needs of the tenant, respecting their choice and privacy. Your duties will also require you to liaise with the wider housing management team, key services, other agencies, and professionals to deliver a holistic, person centred approach based on the tenants needs.
You will also need:
- The ability to develop close working relationships with tenants and professionals;
- Experience or understanding in housing related support service;
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills;
- Willingness to help others in a non-judgemental way and show empathy;
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other housing requirements.
