Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Anchorage Hotel. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are in good condition.
Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Assist with laundry duties as needed, including folding linens.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
