We are offering a competitive salary of up to £25,870.20 including up to 4 sleep-in's per month. Additional sleep-in's and shifts are available if you would like any overtime.

About the role
As a Children's Residential Worker, you will be a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children’s Services, offering care and support to children with Social Emotional Mental Health providing structure, consistency, and nurturing as part of day-to-day living, always ensuring the safety of each child. You will build effective relationships with the children, support them with routine, join the children in activities and holidays, creating meaningful care plans, working together with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers, write reports and ensuring records are kept clear and up to date. These are just some examples of the work you will do that will support our children and young people with their everyday lives.
There will be great days where you will laugh, play games and bring joy to the children but there will be times where the children may shout, swear and cry, but by listening to them, guiding, and offering comfort during challenging times through your kindness, you will find this role really rewarding and see more of those great days!
