We are seeking an experienced reliable Commercial Gardener to join our small team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating a range of gardening equipment including strimmers, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and hedge cutters. (FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE)
This role is part time for 3 days per week (Can lead on to full time)
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and blowing leaves to ensure the neatness and tidiness of commercial properties.
• Winter Maintenance- Leaf collection, pruning, general site maintenance.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address any issues such as pest infestations, weed growth, or plant diseases.
• Act as a charge hand, supervising and coordinating the work of other gardening staff, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial gardening, with proficiency in operating gardening equipment.
• Complete competence with safety procedures and regulations related to the operation of strimmers, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and hedge cutters.
• Preferably hold PA1/PA6 certificates for the safe handling and application of pesticides.
• Valid driver's license needed for the driver position.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
