Forklift Driver Gilfresh Produce is seeking to recruit a Forklift Driver to join our team within our fast growing FMCG family business near Loughgall, Co Armagh. Job Title: Forklift Driver Department: Operations - Warehousing Dept Reports To: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor Responsible For: No direct reports Salary: Competitive The Role: Working within a chilled factory environment, the forklift driver will be required to:
Load and unload lorries/vehicles etc, checking and recording weights/amounts of products, completing all necessary paperwork when required.
Carry out stock control duties on all products in chill areas.
Ensuring stock is rotated correctly, and stored in designated areas.
Completing appropriate forklift checks and paperwork.
Identify and report faulty equipment, damage and safety concerns immediately to the transport/warehouse manager.
Have strong communication and close relationship with other departments
Ensure raw material, finished produce, pallets and bins are cleared and appropriately stored, stacked in designated areas at all the time and appropriately labelled.
Monitor production schedule, to determine necessary material requirements, movements and deliveries.
Maintain tidiness in all areas (including the yard), keeping pallets, trays, etc.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for Health and Safety and Food Safety.
Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures relevant to each area of work.
Be able to carry out any other duties deemed necessary, reasonable and within capability when required by management for the efficient running of the business.
