Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant / Bar Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Aldergrove Flying Station, Crumlin, BT29 4BP

As a Food Service Assistant / Bar Steward, you will be managing the bars operations throughout your shift. You will be mixing and serving drinks whilst keeping the bar area clean and fully stocked. You will also be working in other areas front of house, including kitchen porting and front of house stewarding when required. You will provide excellent customer service at all times and be reporting into the General Manager on site.

• We are offering a full time, permanent position. You will be working 37 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including some weekend work. Shifts will range between 6.30am - midnight. The hourly rate is £11.44. Part time will also be considered.

A day in the life of a FSA/Bar Person:

• You will be stewarding Front of House on occasion, along working in the kitchen if required. This will include waitressing, cleaning accommodation and dining areas and assisting FOH/BOH with any duties required.
• You will be mixing and serving drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to meet customer preferences. You will also be using Challenge 25, to ensure all ID’s are valid.
• You will be capable of lone working and managing the bar service on your own.
• Cleaning the bar area, ensuring everything is clean and tidy before, during, and after service. This will include stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning etc.
• Operating the tills and taking card and cash payments, ensuring you are keeping financial records as required and offering excellent customer service to our customers. This will include cashing up at the end of the shift.

You'll be set up for success if you have..

• Previous bar experience is desirable however full training will be given on site.
• For this role you must be 18+
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
• Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
