Who are Forbes of Kingennie?

We are the ideal touring base, being virtually at the geographical ‘hub’ of Scotland in Angus near Dundee and Tayside, with the most extraordinary variety of wonderful scenery on our doorstep.


What will you be doing?

• To have an understanding of the restaurant till and booking systems
• To ensure all restaurant and bar areas are clean, and tables are set in the approved way
• To ensure all fridges and shelves are fully stocked throughout service
• To ensure all cutlery and glassware are cleaned to a high standard
• To apply an understanding of the restaurant and bar layout, to allow for decisions on where best to seat customers
• To follow opening and closedown instructions, to ensure that the bar and restaurant are clean and prepared for the next service
• Have a strong knowledge of the food and beverage menu, asking questions when unsure on specific areas, and using this knowledge to up sell effectively, encouraging maximum spend from customers
• Take accurate customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction is met
• If over 18, ensure all drinks are made and delivered quickly, and all areas behind the bar are clean and clear

Full Time and Part Time roles available (between 16 – 40 hours).


A full, clean Driving Licence is preferred, however, not considered essential.
