Fire Risk Assessor/Fire Safety Inspector Fire Risk Assessor Due to our continued success, we are expanding our team. We are actively recruiting for experienced Fire Risk assessor to look after our growing client base. Responsibilities will include: · Experience of carrying out complex Fire Risk Assessments to a high standard. · Compile FRA reports using both a PC and a hand-held tablet device. · Undertake fire risk assessments, compile emergency action plans for clients premises. · Act as the initial point of contact for technical issues arising from specific contracts/assignments which have been allocated to the post holder. · Provide legislative, specialist technical fire safety advice. .Deliver fire safety training - theory and practical. · Maintain and develop excellent client relationships and ensure high level of service is delivered. · Ensure Fire Risk Assessment reports are completed correctly. · Work to ISO9001/BAFE SP205 standards. · Maintain a high degree of fire safety competency, working knowledge and awareness of current fire safety practices, codes and guides, fire safety management, and fire risk assessment, through personal reading, participation in CPD events, online forums, membership of relevant professional bodies and participation at relevant training courses. The ideal candidate will have: · Preferably served in a Fire Safety Department within a Local Authority Fire Service and hold a recognised Fire Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH, FPA or FIA. · Excellent knowledge of current fire safety practices, codes and guides, fire safety management, and fire risk assessment. · Have sound understanding and practical application of the Fire Safety Order. · Ability to work independently. · Full, clean, UK Driving Licence. · Excellent attention to detail. · Positive attitude, reliable and flexible. · Good organisation and communication skills. . Ability to provide excellent customer service. . Excellent knowledge of buildings and their structure. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills .Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and hand-help tablets. What we offer:
