Finance Assistant - e Billing

Belfast Finance

The Belfast Finance department provides services to the A&O Shearman network of offices covering management and financial accounting & reporting, revenue control (includes e Billing), credit control, accounts payable and tax. Main offices currently served are London, Belfast, US, South Africa, Dubai, Israel, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany.

There is a strong client service ethic and we work to Service Level Agreements, targets and deadlines to deliver in line with client expectations.

What you will do

As an e Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all e Billing transactions through the 3E finance system, and third party e Billing systems, helping to support all offices in our network.

This will include:

  • Uploading e Bills into our e Billing portals
  • All related administrative duties as instructed by direct line lead in order to successfully submit our bills.
  • Obtaining appropriate authorisations prior to transaction processing;
  • Data entry onto the finance system;
  • Dealing with telephone and mailbox enquiries and queries;
  • Providing general support and advice within the e Billing department
  • Appropriate electronic filing of all documentation;
  • Dealing with miscellaneous duties to assist in the smooth running of the department;
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects

What you will have

  • Experience of working with e Billing systems and knowledge of the e Billing processes;
