Who are we looking for? We are recruiting for a Final Examiner who will be responsible for inspecting finished garments to ensure they meet the company's high quality and performance standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, an understanding of textile manufacturing processes, and the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in garments and other textile products. The successful candidate will become a flexible member of the current finishing area of our wider production team. What will you bring to the role?
Quality Inspection: Conduct on-going visual inspection of garments, checking finished garments for defects such as loose threads, stains, uneven stitching, colour inconsistencies, or fabric damage
Record and document findings, maintain accurate quality control reports, and ensure proper communication of results to relevant departments
Compliance: Ensure all products meet the required specifications and industry standards for quality, safety, and durability
Problem Solving: Work closely with the production team to address any quality issues and provide feedback on how to correct and prevent defects
Standards Maintenance: Ensure that all inspection processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices
Product Approval: Approve or reject finished products based on quality criteria and provide recommendations for rework
Continuous Improvement: help implement best practices to maintain high standards across the production line.
