Female Support Worker/Personal Assistant required for lady (early 50s) with a physical disability living in the Larkhall area, to provide mainly social support and domestic tasks, maintain house and keep garden in order and personal care.
Sociable, caring, easy going person required to join an existing team to provide support to a woman living independently in her own home.
Assistance required for all aspects of Independent Living and some personal care may be required and assistance with light meal and snack preparation. Shopping and attending appointments, driving an automatic mobility vehicle is required.
Wheelchair user therefore experience using tracking hoist preferred although not essential as training will be provided.
Driving licence essential and would be required to drive automatic mobility vehicle.
Very active social life enjoys days out shopping, going for a run to the seaside and watching her favourite Football team play at home and away if possible.
There will be a degree of flexibility with this role and days to be discussed at interview.
18 hours per week – to be worked over 3 days (3 x 6 hour shifts)
Typically, weekdays with occasional weekends (shift times 11am – 5pm)
Weekend shifts – to be discussed at interview.
Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
