Overview and Purpose of Role Working as part of the electrical production team, you will be responsible for the fault finding and diagnostics and wiring of our ground support equipment including our EV (Electric Vehicles) on the factory production lines. Main Duties and Responsibilities · Embody & champion Mallaghan’s Vision, Values, & Behaviors in all aspects of the business. · Assemble a variety of different components in the Finishing end of production according to customer specification. · Experience in AC/DC electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics. · Quality check your own work and that of colleagues. · Experience using hand, air and electric tools to complete tasks. · Working on own initiative and as part of a team · Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. · Liaise on an on-going basis with Supervisors, Managers, and team members. · Comply with company policies and legal guidelines. · Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment. · Any other duties as required by the production manager to suit business needs. · Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system. · Adherence to company health and safety procedures · Maintain a clean and tidy works area Experience & Qualifications: · Experience in fitting, assembly, manufacturing, engineering, mechanics. · Experience of handheld tools · Ability to assemble consistently to a high standard. · Able to trouble shoot and solve problems. · A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to interact with a multifunctional team. Desirable: · Ideally you will have knowledge of mains AC and automotive DC electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics within a manufacturing environment. · Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment would be advantageous as well as hydraulic pumps and valves. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: · Excellent verbal and written skills · Highest level of integrity, honesty, and trust · Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities. · Strong communication skills · A “Can do” resilient attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team. · Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timeline.
