Education Administrator (Term Time only) - Part Time initially 20 hrs per week (there is some flexibility on extending the hours this can be discussed at interview)
This role will be based at the Education Centre in Newton Aycliffe - Please note in early 2025 this position will be relocated to our Head office at Bowburn.

About the role…
Our Education provision currently delivers Post 16 provision (learners ages 16-24) and Adult Learning provision (19+). We work with learners who are facing a variety of barriers in their lives, offering tailored support to over come these. We have an exciting new opportunity for a term-time Learning Administrator, your duties will include but not be limited too:
Admin duties
- Be responsible for eligibility checks of learners for enrolment on programmes.
- Monitor completion and process submission of learner documentation and data, checking compliance e.g., enrolment/ completion paperwork and registers.
- Ensure submissions are made within commissioner deadlines.
- Be responsible for input and review of data into our Management Information system Maytas.
- Process & update Delivery timetables.
- Complete administration tasks in line with expectations from commissioners
- Support the Adult Learning Team with all areas of Administration – e.g. monitoring attendance, photocopying.
- Correspond with learners – by email, phone, text.
- Prepare resources for Adult Learning team as required.
Engagement duties
- Promote and participate in Adult Learning engagement activity e.g. posters, advertising activities.
- Identify new opportunities for referral sources to contribute to team start targets.
- Build new relationships, and maintain existing relationships with referral agencies, local organisations etc.
- Work in partnership and carry out joint key working to achieve improved positive outcomes for learner.
