Door Supervisor with CCTV Licence
We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to work in a busy shopping center in Cardiff, you will be contracted to work on an average of 36 hours a week on a rolling rota which will include some weekends.
Door Supervisor and CCTV licence are essential for this role.
Job Title: Door Supervisor/CCTV operator
Duties:
Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
Maintain a visible presence within the center, deterring potential security threats.
Handle any disturbances or conflicts that may arise in a clam professional manner
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquires and concerns.
Operate CCTV systems to monitor activities with the premises.
Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow established protocols.
Experience
Previous experience as a door supervisor or in a similar security role is preferred.
Familiarity in CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors and colleagues.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
Excellent observation skills to identify potential security risks or suspicious activities.
Physical fitness and stamina to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks.
