Domestic Worker
There for Care are a Registered Care Agency who supply high quality, specialised services caring and offering domestic support for people in their own home within Torfaen , Monmouthshire and Caerphilly.
This post is for two 3 hour shifts every Monday and Thursday for a couple living in Pontlanfraith. We offer competitive rates of pay, ongoing in-house training as well as external training opportunities, on call support and guidance from an experienced team who are committed to providing a high quality care.
Duties will include:
Generally supporting to keep a family home clean and tidy (cleaning services) as well as supporting to shower a lady of age twice a week.
Supporting Vulnerable Adults over the age of 18
Help with Mobility and transfer assistance
Encouragement with daily and support activities
Record keeping – documenting factual, non judgemental information
Report to your line manager
Abide by any health and safety requirements within the setting and in line with current legislation
Assistance and encouragement with Nutritional and Dietary needs
Working within a team and on an individual basis as and when required
Promote Independence, privacy, dignity, confidentiality, respect and fulfilment must be all times
