Department Administrator

We at Watson & Browne, Carryduff are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Interior design department by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various office software and excellent communication skills, as you will be a first point of contact for clients and staff alike.
Working hours Monday - Friday with flexible working hours.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
*Responsibilities*
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including clerical duties and data entry.
- Maintain accurate records and files using both physical and digital systems.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Organise meetings and coordinate schedules for team members.
- Prepare documents and reports using Microsoft Excel and other platforms.
- Support the office environment by ensuring it remains tidy and well-organised.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
*Experience*
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency with calculations and ordering
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is advantageous.
- Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with office software applications. including Mircosoft Excel
- A professional attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
