Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers.

This role involves working closely with sales department, production and warehouse teams as you are responsible for the entire process from customer order to despatch of goods through to invoicing, follow through and query resolution.
Engaging with customers is a critical aspect of the role as you are the focal point for communication, keeping customers updated, addressing their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience with our products and service. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance our ability to serve a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers, issue full documentation in respect of sales orders.
  • Receiving orders from customers and confirming receipt to the customer.
  • Liasing with the production department to confirm expected despatch date for the order and communicating this to the customer.
  • Liasing with external freight partners and internal warehouse to arrange despatch of goods.
  • Keeping the customer fully informed as to the progress of their order, especially any unforseen changes in the desptach date.
  • Notify the customer when their order has been despatched.
  • Despacthing of finished goods and invoicing.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while communicating with customers in both English and Spanish (or other languages as applicable).
  • Assisting the Internal Sales Manager in Sales and Marketing activities including, maintaining a record of all quotations to customers, record of samples sent to customers, updating sales databases and AOB as required.
  • Comply with Equal Opportunities Policy, Company Health & Safety at work policy.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
  • Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Other equivalent duties, as required by the company.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is essential.
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is advantageous, particularly in Germany but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers.
  • Familiarity with data entry systems (MS NAV Dynamics) and customer relationship management (CRM) software is beneficial.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
