As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for a variety of enquiries, including allocations, environmental issues, repairs, rent payments, arrears, and general inquiries. You will handle incoming and outbound calls, emails, and case management, ensuring that every customer interaction meets our high standards of excellence. Your role will involve working closely with the Customer Service Team Manager to monitor and enhance team performance, ensuring that our service standards are not just met, but exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service across multiple channels, maintaining our commitment to putting customers at the heart of what we do.
- Support the team manager in workforce planning, ensuring consistent service levels and effective call management.
- Coordinate back-office activities to meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Handle customer complaints effectively, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in customer service, ideally with a background in social housing or care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, and a commitment to learning new technologies quickly.
