Female Cleaning operative required at St Georges Market Belfast, Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will interact with clients and colleagues regularly.
Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
• Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• A valid driver's licence is desirable for travel between sites.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
