As a care homes cook, you will:
- Assist with the running of the kitchen, ensuring safe practices and hygiene levels are maintained.
- Work with others in the home to create and provide healthy and balanced meals for the residence, in line with care plans.
- Consider the varying conditions and dietary requirements of the residents when creating menus.
- Monitor and order stock for the kitchen.
- Keep documents and records up to date throughout your shift.
- Minimum of 6 months in a commercial kitchen.
- Experience in cooking for a high volume of people.
- Level 2 food hygiene.
