Bakery Assistant
Melting Moments Home Bakery is seeking a Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help prepare and produce our range of homemade treats, contributing to our mission of supplying quality baked goods to stores throughout the region.
Duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week

Duties
- Assist in preparing doughs, batters, and fillings for our cookies, pastries, and custom cakes
- Learn to operate bakery equipment under supervision
- Help with baking, decorating, and packaging our products
- Maintain a clean and organised bakery area
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines
- Assist with stock management and rotation of ingredients
- Previous experience in a bakery is beneficial but not required
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques is desirable
- Willingness to learn about different baking equipment and tools
- Understanding of food hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a production-focused environment
