Your role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist 1 to be part of an ever-growing company. In this role within our flex team you will be required to support the business needs through work within different departments such as Microbiology, Virology, Molecular & more. You will be responsible for the performance of routine GLP/GMP studies and maintain good housekeeping, equipment maintenance and stock control to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories. Other responsibilities include working within the laboratory following Standard Operating Procedures and relevant compliance regulations to ensure routine studies are completed on time and accurately recorded to meet appropriate scientific and GLP/GMP regulatory standards.

Who you are:
- You have a HNC/HND, BSc or MSc in a biological science
- You will have prior experience in a lab role, ideally in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP/ISO) - Desirable
- You will have Cell Culture & Aseptic Technique experience
- You are always focused on quality and safety
- You have strong planning and organisational skills
- You have the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities
- You are an adaptable team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are self motivated with strong initiative, drive and capable of working independently
- You have a good standard of written and spoken English and are computer literate
