Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry, providing excellent customer service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, offer recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers.
- Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to the table.
- Serve food and beverages while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer requests, complaints, and provide solutions politely and efficiently.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and closing the restaurant, including clearing tables and restocking supplies.
- Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a waiter or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling procedures is a plus.
