Job Description:
Manzo Restaurant is seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing sushi and related dishes, with a strong emphasis on authenticity, presentation, and taste. The role requires excellent communication skills in English, as interaction with team members and guests is key to maintaining a smooth dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of sushi, adhering to high standards of quality.
• Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring food safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate new sushi dishes and specials.
• Interact with guests as needed to explain dishes or accommodate special requests.
• Manage inventory and ensure the freshness of sushi ingredients.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring consistency in the food presentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of sushi-making experience in a restaurant setting.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese culinary traditions.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive work environment.
• Attention to detail, particularly in the presentation of dishes.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,400.00 per month
