Designing and sketching signage layouts based on client specifications.
Preparing surfaces (e.g., walls, vehicles, windows, boards) by cleaning, priming, and smoothing for painting.
Selecting appropriate paints and materials based on the surface and environmental factors.
Painting signs by hand or using stencils, brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other equipment.
- Measuring and applying lettering and graphics precisely to meet the required dimensions and designs.
- Maintaining consistency in colors, font styles, and overall quality to align with branding or project guidelines.
- Working with different media such as wood, metal, glass, and vinyl to apply painted signs.
- Repairing or refurbishing existing signage when needed, including retouching faded or damaged paint.
- Collaborating with designers, clients, and other professionals to ensure that the signage meets aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards for signage installation.
- Keeping updated on painting techniques, equipment, and trends in signage to improve efficiency and quality.
