Healthcare professional who specializes in providing therapeutic massage treatments to clients for relaxation, pain relief, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Assessment: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs, health history, and any contraindications for massage therapy.
Massage Therapy: Administer a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, hot stone, and other specialized modalities, based on the client's needs and preferences.
Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address the client's specific concerns and goals, ensuring a safe and effective session.
Hygiene and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, including massage tables, linens, and equipment, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Communication: Effectively communicate with clients during sessions to ensure their comfort, adjust pressure as needed, and provide education on self-care and post-massage recommendations.
Ethical Practice: Adhere to professional and ethical standards, including client confidentiality, informed consent, and appropriate boundaries.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, addressing client concerns, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
