Job Title: Male Registered Nurse - Homecare (Full-Time)

Job Description:
A leading medical service provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Male Registered Nurse for a full-time homecare position. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, managing medical interventions, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Assess patients comprehensively after receiving referrals and identify the need for nursing interventions.
• Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Nursing Interventions: Provide nursing care including feeding, diaper changing, skin and oral care; promote hygiene; administer medications; dress wounds, PEG sites, and other contraptions; and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Monitoring & Documentation: Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, intake and output, medications, nutritional and hydration status, urine characteristics, and bowel movements.
• Emergency Response: Report and document any changes in patient status, and respond to emergencies immediately.
• Coordination: Coordinate with General Practitioners (GPs), physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
• Equipment & Supplies Management: Monitor medical equipment and supplies, including medication expiration, and coordinate with staff for timely acquisition of necessary supplies or medications.
• Hospital Assistance: Assist during hospital admissions or check-ups at healthcare centers.
• Patient Safety: Ensure the safety of patients under care throughout the homecare service period.
• Documentation: Ensure all documentation related to services provided is clear, complete, and free from errors.
• Education: Teach patients, caregivers, and family members about infection control and health promotion measures.
• Patient Rights: Recognize patient rights and responsibilities and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Compliance: Adhere to all policies and procedures, including those from GIMS, HAAD, DAMAN, and Labor standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Home country nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field post-qualification.
• Valid DOH License.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
