PURPOSE OF JOB The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the guest experience as well as the food and beverage operations seamlessly, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and exceptional experience. An ideal candidate would be a proactive leader who has a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service as well as a passion for eco-friendly practices. MAIN DUTIES · Service Excellence o Greet and welcome guests upon arrival ensuring a warm and personalized experience. o Assisting guests in check-in / check-out process creating a good impression of the brand. o Lead the team in offering individualized support, responding to questions, and resolving issues in a timely manner. o Promote and retain Pura Eco Retreat sustainability goals by educating guests and staff on responsible practices. o Maintain excellence customer service by monitoring the waitstaff and assuring compliance with appropriate etiquette and regulations. · Guest Relations o Establish strong rapport with guest, consider their requirements, and assist them in meeting their expectations. o Oversees F&B operations by making sure that Pura Eco Retreat's eco-friendly attitude is reflected in the dining experience for the guests. o Assisting guests with transportation arrangements and suggesting about the restaurants, activities, and other services available on the property. o Responding to guest queries and complaints, aiding, and resolving issues promptly. · Coordination and Communication o Coordinating with the other departments to ensure smooth operation. o Collaborating with housekeeping department, engineering o Working together with the kitchen staff to make sure meal orders are served on time to avoid delays. o Collaborate with the chef to craft seasonal and sustainable menus. o Coordinate and manage various recreational activities and excursions offered by the retreat. · Health and Safety o Supervise recreation activities and guide the staff to ensure their knowledge and safety practices meets the Pura Eco Retreat standards. o Develop and implement health and safety protocols, ensuring they are in line with Pura Eco Retreat standards and local regulations. o Ensure health and safety measures in food preparation, storage, and service. · Leadership and Staff Training o Train and mentor, the employee to deliver consistent and exceptional service aligned with Pura Eco Retreat. o Train and guide the F&B staff to improve their abilities, product expertise, and service effectiveness. o Provide ongoing guidance and support to staff, empowering them to excel in their respective role. · General Duties o Working as a point of contact for escalating guest queries and offering prompt, effective solutions. o Keep comprehensive guest records to ensure correct billing and payments. o Develop and maintain a schedule of engaging and eco-conscious activities for guests. o Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the overall growth and success of the retreat. JOB SPECIFICATION Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts or related field or equivalent field Experience: · Proven experience in guest service, F&B, and recreational roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. · Must Have Opera Cloud Experience. · Proficiency in problem solving and conflict resolution. · Strong leadership skills · Knowledge of hospitality software and reservation system, · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. · Ability to multi-task and prioritized in fast paced environment. · Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry LIVING THE PURA BEHAVIOURS Be a Story Teller o Ability to engage, inform, and delight the guest by providing them with a memorable and eco-conscious experience.
