Excavator MECHANIC

JOB ROLE :-EXCAVATOR MECHANIC
JOB LOCATION:- ABU DHABI
Key Responsibilities
A Heavy Equipment Mechanic has a wide range of responsibilities that extend beyond simple maintenance tasks. These include:
  • Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks on machinery to thwart potential failures and guarantee smooth operations.
  • Interpreting technical manuals and drawings to execute repairs and enhancements.
  • Collaborating with other mechanics and management to maintain machinery schedules and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Testing repaired machinery to verify successful restoration and adherence to performance and safety standards.
Tasks and Duties
Duties of a Heavy Equipment Mechanic are diverse and can include the following specific tasks:
  • Inspecting heavy equipment for proper performance and detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Dismantling faulty equipment parts and installing new or fixed parts.
  • Cleaning and lubricating equipment and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Keeping detailed records of serviced machines and reporting progress and issues to management.
  • Advising clients or management on recommended equipment servicing and maintenance schedules.
Education and Certification Requirements
To qualify for a position as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, certain educational and certification prerequisites must be met:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is essential. Some roles might require a vocational certification or an associate's degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • Professional Certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification are highly regarded and sometimes required.
  • Hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, typically gained through apprenticeships or previous job roles, is crucial.
  • Strong understanding of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is often necessary for advanced repair tasks.
  • Continuous education and training to keep up with advancements in machinery technology and repair techniques.
EXPERIENCE IS MUST IN THE RELEVANT FIELD
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
Experience:
  • RELEVANT FIELD: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
  • UAE LICENSE (Preferred)
Location:
  • Abu Dhabi (Preferred)
