Cashier/Waitress

  • Job Summary:
  • As a cashier/waitress at ETCH CAFE , you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for processing transactions, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus
  • Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
  • Process customer payments using the POS system
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
  • Ensure tables are clean and set up properly for the next guests
  • Answer customer questions about the menu items and make recommendations
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cashier station and dining area
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills for processing payments
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
