*American Red Cross License is a must.
Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
Experience:
Expected Start Date: 01/10/2024
- Patrols public beach area to monitor activities of swimmers and prevent illegal conduct
- Rescues distressed persons from ocean or adjacent cliffs, using rescue techniques and equipment.
- Examines injured individuals, administers first aid, and monitors vital signs, utilizing training, antiseptics, bandages, and instruments
- Compiles emergency and medical treatment report forms and maintains daily information on weather and beach conditions.
- Open the pool each day and close it down each evening, depending on schedule and hours
- Treat the pool with appropriate concentration of chemicals on a regular schedule
- Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues
- Direct swimmers out of the pool in hazardous conditions
- Monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety of guests
- Organize and oversee pool parties
- Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool
- Provide assistance to patrons when appropriate or necessary
- Current and valid American Red Cross License
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Ability to pass pre-employment practical skills test in the water
- 2+ years’ lifeguard experience preferred
- Flexible schedule required
Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
