Job Summary:
We are looking for a Barre Instructor, who should be an enthusiastic, energetic, and certified professional to lead engaging and challenging Barre classes for clients of all fitness levels. As a Barre Instructor, you will create a positive environment, ensure client safety, and deliver effective workouts that improve strength, flexibility, posture, and balance.
You should have a strong background in wellness, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming and health-focused environment.
Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, assess their fitness levels, and provide modifications or progressions to ensure inclusivity in the workout
• Lead and instruct group Barre fitness classes, focusing on a combination of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength-training movements
• Develop creative and effective class routines that align with fitness goals and are adaptable for various skill levels
• Implement high-energy playlists and songs to keep clients engaged
• Create a motivating, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages clients to push themselves while enjoying the workout
• Demonstrate exercises and techniques clearly, providing hands-on adjustments and verbal cues to ensure proper form and safety
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards and ensure equipment (mats, bars, resistance bands, etc) is used correctly and in good condition
• Build strong client relationships, provide personalized feedback, and encourage regular attendance and fitness progress
• Assist with class scheduling, registration, and general studio maintenance when needed

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Barre instructor certification (e.g. Barre Intensity, Barre3, Booty Barre, or equivalent)
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift 20lbs and be able to move/push equipment as needed
• Background in dance, Pilates, yoga, or group fitness instruction is highly preferred
• Required CPR/First Aid Certification to ensure client safety in case of emergencies
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and maintain a positive atmosphere
• Must demonstrate physical fitness and the ability to perform and instruct exercises with ease
• A love for fitness and helping others achieve their wellness goals
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Stand for long periods and physically demonstrate exercises

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED1.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Barre Instructor: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Barre Intensity, Barre3, Booty Barre (Required)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)
