- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and quality standards. • Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and milk frothers, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance for optimal performance. • Consistently deliver high-quality coffee products, paying attention to the brewing process, extraction times, and milk steaming techniques. • Create latte art and aesthetically pleasing presentations to enhance the visual appeal of the coffee beverages. • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking and fulfilling their coffee orders promptly. • Provide recommendations on coffee selections based on customers' preferences and flavor profiles. • Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing any inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and courteously. • Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring that all supplies, condiments, and utensils are well-stocked and readily available. • Stay updated on coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and specialty coffee offerings. • Familiarize yourself with the characteristics, origins, and flavor profiles of various coffee beans and blends. • Educate customers on different brewing methods, coffee types, and flavor profiles to enhance their coffee knowledge and enjoyment. • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following proper cash handling procedures. • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders, track sales, and manage inventory. • Upsell additional products or food items to customers, maximizing sales opportunities. • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards of the coffee station, equipment, and utensils. • Regularly clean and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to hygiene standards. • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management when replenishment is needed. • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient restocking and organization of coffee supplies and ingredients.
- Primary Education. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. • Previous experience as a Barista or Coffee Maker, preferably in Specialty Coffee. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
