Currently, we are looking to add a MSSQL Server DB Engineer to our team.
This position could be fully remote.

Requirements:

Have 2-3 years of experience in creating highly dynamic SSIS packages supporting package parameters, programmatic control flows, exception handling, and reporting
Demonstrate an advanced proficiency with SQL (dynamic SQL, recursive CTEs, row hashing)
Have a strong understanding of relational database design principles
Comfortably break down business user requests into actionable technical steps, and raise clarifying questions to the team when more information is needed
Demonstrate creativity and adaptability in an environment where tasks vary from day to day and often require investigation and planning rather than being explicitly defined
Possess a balance of curiosity in an environment where answers tend to be discovered and discussed, and caution in an environment where best practices are adopted to ensure consistency and accuracy
Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

Experience gathering requirements from business users and/or stakeholders and defining key objectives
Experience with one or more change data capture methods
Have working knowledge of customer matching and householding methods and principles
2-3 years of experience in database design

Responsibilities:

Work primarily with MS SQL Server AND SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to create and maintain processes which receive client data sets and move them along our flow of services, including staging, transformation, customer matching, and loading into our Velocity CDP platform
Perform thorough data profiling methods to understand the structure, substance, and quality of client data sets
Provide continuous client support across our services, including investigating data discrepancies, researching matching outcomes, and providing product support of our Velocity CDP platform
Create and contribute to processes using internal data matching, transformation, and integration tools

About the project:
The Modern Marketing Platform. We develop different products in marketing related to data analysis & data processing. One of those projects is a classic Big Data solution aimed at simplifying the sorting of millions of data loads daily. The project follows an ETL process scenario for decision support suitable for data warehouses and Business Intelligence tools. Users can upload huge chunks of data loads from various sources and transform them to get some valuable marketing/advertisement insights.
