The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the following processes and tasks:
- Create and distribute production schedules.
- Monitor manufacturing execution/performance to production schedules.
- Control raw material orders and/or releases.
- Maintain system information on schedules, work orders, etc
- Perform short and long-range capacity planning.
- Regularly review work center staffing to insure they are in balance with the needs of production.
- Coordinate expediting and scheduling changes.
- Prepare reports for Supply Chain Manager
- Support achievement of plant raw material, WIP, and work order/line fill delivery performance.
- Develop and maintain scheduling policies
- Support forecasting activity by interfacing with corporate Supply Chain Management Team.
- Participate in self-development activities and training of others.
- Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices.
- Other duties as assigned
- Optimize long and short-term sales projections, strive for continuous improvement of forecast accuracy
Who are we looking for?
The Ideal Candidate should have the following skills:
- Solid planning and organizational skills, along with critical thinking and strong analytical abilities to achieve results and improve key metrics.
- Must have high energy, demonstrate urgency, and fast pace, ability to resolve issues quickly and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basis.
- Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing principles to lead and/or facilitate improvements to the systems and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills that include teamwork and collaborative problem solving.
- Must be able to work well with the operating team and have the ability to communicate easily with corporate Supply Chain Education
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a scheduling/ Planning environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain related field
- Knowledge of ERP systems / SAP preferrable
- Good data analytical skills
- Advanced excel knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English knowledge
