Job Description: L2 IT Support & Network Engineer We are looking for an experienced L2 Tech to maintain and improve our computing environment by identifying network needs, installing upgrades, and monitoring performance. Job Responsibilities:
Establish network specifications by working with users to analyze workflow, access, and security needs, and designing router administration.
Set up and maintain networks by evaluating performance issues like availability, utilization, throughput, and latency, while planning and executing network upgrades.
Troubleshoot and optimize network performance, and escalate unresolved issues to vendors when necessary.
Ensure network security by managing access, monitoring, control, and documentation.
Train users by creating and conducting educational programs and offering continuous support.
Upgrade and improve networks through collaboration with vendors, testing, evaluating, and installing new features and enhancements.
Support financial operations by submitting budget information and keeping track of expenses.
Stay updated by participating in training programs, reading industry publications, and building a professional network.
Maintain confidentiality and protect the organization’s data.
Achieve organization goals by taking ownership of new tasks and finding ways to add value.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in network administration.
Expertise in networking, routing, and switching.
Knowledge of server management and infrastructure control.
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and remote troubleshooting.
Ability to configure server hardware.
Familiarity with backup and recovery software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Certifications like CCNA, Network+, CCNP, or equivalent.
BSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree with a focus on electronics preferred.
